Bishnupuri Silk is a raw form of pure mulberry silk known for its soft, lightweight and smooth texture. They are originally from Bishnupur, a town in West Bengal, India. They come in vibrant colors. This bright red and cream Bishnupuri silk saree is hand-painted with birds. The borders features painted small hand-painted cranes and pallu sports two large hand-painted cranes with mountains and water in the backdrop. The saree is soft and very lightweight and easy to drape. It comes with an unstitched red blouse piece with hand-painted borders for the sleeves.
