Matka silk in Blue with woven sequins

Matka silks are mainly produced with pierced cocoon, which means once the moth gets out of the cocoon. It is an Ahimsa silk.Its texture resembling a tweed cloth, though the fabric of Matka silk is thick, it is very light and airy. The silk fiber is hand spun not reeled.

This pure handwoven Matka silk saree is embellished with woven gold sequins all over the body.The Top side of the saree and the pallu has a running pattern with zari and small sequins. The bottom has a beautiful contrast green plain border that enhances the beauty of the saree more.

This one of a kind designer saree is a pure work of art. The floral sequins on the middle part of the saree is woven in the saree not added separately. The unstitched blouse piece is in Blue and Green combo. Pico done.
